The Keith Corporation Making Record Time on CBI Warehouse Development

Entire Project from Grading to Completion Will Take a Total of Five Months

CHARLOTTE, NC – MAY 16, 2017 – The Keith Corporation (“TKC”) announced today that construction is well underway on a $4.2 million dollar, 60,000 square foot, 24’ clear height office, warehouse and distribution facility for Charlotte based furniture wholesaler and furniture solutions provider, Carolina Business Interiors (“CBI”).  This new location, situated on 9 acres of land, at 2753 Westinghouse Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina, will be the primary distribution center in the southeast for CBI.

Due to CBI’s time frame the project will completed in five months.  The ground breaking occurred in March and construction is scheduled to be complete by July of 2017.

The Keith Corporation stepped up to the challenge by making the development process as smooth and seamless as possible for CBI decision makers.  “This process has been the easiest and non-stressful process I have ever been a part of”, stated Derek Brensinger, Project Manager for CBI, “We are able to focus on our clients and we know that TKC has our back and our best interest in hand.”

TKC has developed over 19 million square feet of industrial and office space throughout the United States and abroad.  According to the Director of Development at TKC, Ken Beuley, “It has been a pleasure working with the CBI Team. We have watched CBI execute complex furniture system solutions over the years, and we are glad to be helping them now in our area of expertise.”
