Green Building/LEED® Initiative/Sustainability
TKC supports green building practices and sustainability. In 2009, we developed a distribution center for Crate & Barrel, the first in the Carolinas to achieve LEED® Silver Certification under the "New Construction" category. Additionally, we completed an office laboratory for Quintiles Transnational Corporation in Edinburgh, Scotland which was awarded a "Very Good" BREEAM rating, the equivalent of a LEED® Gold Certification in the United States.Contact the TKC Development Team
"I had the pleasure of first working with The Keith Corporation when we selected their Kansas firm to develop and own our 235,000 Sq. Ft. office and Phase I testing facility in Kansas City. It was a next to impossible schedule to fulfill, but they did a fantastic job of delivering this four-story office building in 8.5 months and achieving the planned occupancy date.
