ROCK HILL, SC — The Keith Corporation (TKC), in partnership with CBC Real Estate and Springsteen Properties, is pleased to announce Work@Wheel as the newest tenant at The Thread, Rock Hill’s adaptive reuse development transforming a historic 1946 textile mill into a vibrant mixed-use destination.
The new coworking and wellness-first workspace will occupy 16,378 square feet and is scheduled to open in February 2026.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Derek and Broyny Vitatoe, Work@Wheel was created to transform the way people experience the workplace. Together, they bring more than 40 years of combined expertise in wellness, leadership, and business performance. “Our vision is to redefine the way people work by fusing productivity with well-being,” said the Vitatoes. “Work@Wheel is more than just desks and Wi-Fi—it’s a place where movement fuels focus and wellness is built into the workday.”
The decision to launch in Rock Hill and at The Thread was a natural choice for the Vitatoes. “Rock Hill is a city on the rise and full of energy, growth, and the entrepreneurial spirit,” the Vitatoes explained. “The Thread was the perfect fit because it’s a hub for innovation, creativity, and connection. It aligns beautifully with our mission: a modern, vibrant setting where people can move, connect, and succeed together.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Work@Wheel to The Thread,” said Jay Coleman from The Keith Corporation. “Coworking spaces bring energy and diversity to a project, attracting a wide range of clients and filling a much-needed niche within the Rock Hill submarket.”
Work@Wheel’s offerings will include flexible coworking memberships, private office suites, meeting and event spaces, virtual mail services, and wellness-forward programming. With features like cycle desks, tread desks, an onsite massage therapist, and wellness-minded design, the environment is crafted to help professionals thrive physically, mentally, and professionally.
