The Keith Corporation, alongside our development partners, Origin Development Partners and Mixson Properties, has started construction on our newest office venture in Charleston, SC. Morrison Yard will stand at 180 feet, making it the tallest office structure on the Charleston peninsula.

The first tenant lined up to move into the new building is Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein, who will move from Bank of America Place to Morrison Yard’s sixth floor once the office is completed next year (2022). Ashley Cooper, managing partner of the Charlotte-based firm’s Charleston office, stated that the decision to move after approximately 20 years on Meeting Street will allow the practice to design space for new trends and best needs for the legal industry, including more flexible work space and video conferencing capabilities.

Another tenant will be announced soon for the penthouse event space with outdoor seating on the 12th floor.

The fifth- eleventh floor will be leasable office space. A four-story parking deck with 395 spaces will be built adjacent to the structure’s north side, and two one-story retail buildings will sit along Morrison Drive.

Construction is set to be completed by mid-2022.
