TKC, along with our development partners, Ashley HomeStore and Broad River Retail (a licensee for Ashley HomeStore) announced plans for a new distribution center, outlet store, retail store, call center, and learning center on Ashley Homestore's 30-acre campus outside Four Oaks. The development is expected to bring 161 new jobs to Johnston County. The new construction will represent a $15 million investment on a 30-acre site that was previously farmland.

"This significant project has transformative potential for Four Oaks, not just in terms of new jobs and tax base, but also the likelihood that other businesses will follow in establishing operations here that will support and complement this new facility," Four Oaks Mayor Linwood Parker said in a statement.

County Commissioner Chairman Ted Godwin added, “What a great day to be in Johnston County. Thank you for supporting Johnston County and the Town of Four Oaks.”

The One NC Fund contributed a $150,000 grant towards the site.  Johnston County Commissioners provided $700,000 in economic development incentives.
