Patrick Faulkner

Patrick Faulkner is the Senior Healthcare Development Partner at The Keith Corporation with over 22 years of healthcare development experience. His expertise in design, construction, and development of over $800 million worth of healthcare facilities ranges from standard medical office buildings to cancer centers, free standing emergency departments, surgery centers, and acute care hospitals. Over his career, Mr. Faulkner has delivered over 500,000 sq ft of clinical medical office space and assisted 5 different healthcare systems develop 342 licensed beds and 28 operating rooms in both greenfield and campus expansion settings.

Mr. Faulkner has spent his entire career exclusively in healthcare development in the Carolinas, developing primarily in Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC. Throughout his career Patrick has successfully navigated multiple challenging land acquisitions requiring intense permitting and entitlement efforts. His tenacity and natural drive to solve complicated problems helped turn several partially undevelopable parcels into thriving manifestations of their highest and best use.

Patrick has also led the TKC Healthcare team in several value add building acquisitions and has experience transforming existing structures into specialized adaptive reuse opportunities. Notably, Mr. Faulkner led the process of converting an existing office building into an inpatient facility in NC. Not only did this project require an occupancy status conversion from Business to Institutional, but it also contains a secure behavioral health wing for involuntary admit patients, requiring extreme life safety construction measures.
