ROCK HILL, South Carolina—The Keith Corporation (TKC), along with partners CBC Real Estate and Springsteen Properties, is proud to announce that Riverstone Logistics has selected The Thread in Rock Hill, South Carolina, as the site of its new headquarters. Riverstone will occupy approximately 40,000 square feet of Class A office space in the redeveloped textile mill, with an anticipated opening in late summer 2026. The relocation represents a $16.4 million investment and is expected to create 159 jobs in York County.
“On behalf of The Thread partnership, we are excited to welcome Riverstone Logistics as they establish their headquarters at The Thread, bringing new opportunities and jobs to the Rock Hill community,” said Ken Beuley, President of The Keith Corporation. “We’re grateful to the City of Rock Hill, York County, the State of South Carolina, as well as our lender, First Horizon Bank, for their continued support in making this possible.”
“As Riverstone has grown, one of our top priorities has been creating a place where our people can thrive,” said Charlie Workmon, CEO of Riverstone Logistics. “We chose The Thread because it gives us more than office space — it gives us a headquarters that reflects our culture and values. From day one, The Keith Corporation and its partners listened to our vision and helped us shape a workplace designed for collaboration, creativity, and long-term growth. While we considered other locations, The Thread stood out as the place where our team could feel both rooted and inspired as we take our next steps forward.”
“The Thread offers a workplace experience that traditional office and mixed-use projects simply can’t replicate,” said Jay Coleman, Office Partner at The Keith Corporation. “It seamlessly combines historic architecture and modern design with retail and lifestyle amenities, creating an environment where companies like Riverstone Logistics can anchor their headquarters, retain and attract talent, and truly connect with the local community.”
Riverstone Logistics’ choice underscores a broader post-pandemic shift: companies desire workplaces with character, authenticity and amenities that inspire people to come to work. The Thread meets this demand with collaborative common areas, flexible meeting and event spaces, ground floor retail amenities, and outdoor gathering spots—all set within a historic textile mill. Set in a walkable downtown location, and in close proximity to surrounding retail, residential, as well as Winthrop University, it’s more than an office—it’s a destination that supports both productivity and community connection.
