STATESVILLE, NC — The Keith Corporation is pleased to announce the acquisition of Larkin Regional Commerce Park, consisting of 1,018 acres on I-77 at Exit 45 in Statesville, NC. The land is entitled for 6 Million Sq. Ft. of industrial development and 750,000 Sq. Ft. of commercial development.

Alan Lewis, Senior Partner of Industrial Development, stated, “The acquisition of this park provides The Keith Corporation with a tremendous opportunity to continue the growth of our industrial platform in the Charlotte region. We are fortunate to have entitlements and infrastructure for Phase 1 of the park already in-place, with all utilities, including robust capacities for water, sewer, natural gas, and electricity for manufacturing projects, readily available.”

Phase 1 of Larkin allows development of up to 3.6 Million Sq. Ft. of manufacturing and distribution projects, including the 800,000 Sq. Ft. distribution center for Sherwin Williams that The Keith Corporation developed and completed for Greenfield Partners in 2024. It also offers something unique in the Charlotte region – a site that can accommodate up to 2,000,000 Sq. Ft. under roof in a single building. Phase 2 of Larkin will ultimately connect to Barkley Road, providing direct access to US Highway 70 and a second I-77 interchange at Exit 49.

Statesville and Iredell County are not new to The Keith Corporation. In 1997, TKC started development of the Sherril Industrial Park on Highway 70, ultimately completing 5 buildings, including 2 speculative buildings, totaling over 1.1M Sq. Ft. TKC also developed 2 speculative buildings in Statesville Business Park, as well as a 547,190 Sq. Ft. build-to-suit for Niagara Bottling in Mooresville Business Park.
