The Keith Corporation (TKC) continues to gain momentum in Pennsylvania with the recent sale of a ±1,240,013-square-foot Class A industrial facility at Hamburg Commerce Park in the Lehigh Valley, along with continued development at Hazleton Creek Commerce Center in Northeast PA.
Sold to a Fortune 2 company, this transaction marks the sale of TKC’s fifth building within the 2.4-million-square-foot Hamburg Commerce Park. The sale also marks the company's second acquisition from TKC within the last year.
Located at 29 Ludwig Court in Shoemakersville, Pennsylvania, the facility was delivered in 2022 as one of the largest speculative industrial buildings in the United States. The building will serve as a non-sortation fulfillment center supporting the purchaser’s growing supply chain network.
With 40-foot clear heights and direct access to Interstate 78, the facility provides strategic access for distribution across major the Northeastern U.S. Markets and supports the continued growth of the purchaser’s regional operations.
Building 4 Completed at Hazleton Creek Commerce Center
TKC’s momentum in Northeast Pennsylvania continues at Hazleton Creek Commerce Center (HCCC), a 5.5-million-square-foot business park being developed by TKC and The Kiel Group within an Opportunity Zone.
Building 4, a 1.1-million-square-foot mission-critical distribution facility, was delivered in 2026 and is now occupied by NFI Industries. The facility supports NFI’s third-party logistics operations throughout the Northeast and is expandable to 1.4 million square feet.
Construction Underway on Building 5
Building 4 within HCCC has primed the park for future growth, as all infrastructure to the park was installed simultaneously with the construction of the project. Taking this opportunity into account, TKC recently broke ground on Building 5, a 550,000-square-foot speculative industrial facility designed to accommodate a variety of users. Along with the construction of Building 5, onsite grading activity is also underway for the adjacent Building 3, a site that can accommodate up to 2.2 million square feet under a single roof.
Hazleton Creek Commerce Center is taking shape as one of Northeast PA's premier distribution and manufacturing destinations, due to its prime location and availability of major incentives that benefit the park.
TKC is grateful for the continued support of Luzerne County, Hazleton Area School District, the City of Hazleton and Hazle Township throughout the development of HCCC, including a full 10-year tax abatement on improvements.
